Bishop Designate Avery Kinney is a fine example of a man that God has literally raised up from the backside of nothing. His ministerial resume is that of a servant because he has functioned in literally every capacity imaginable in ministry.  From cleaning the toilets in the church to being a pastors, "bishop" as he is affectionately called has served faithfully in every assignment. He is a true benefactor of mantles being released into his life from serving and sharing platforms with some local and nationally renowned men and women of God for the last 20 plus years. Overseer travels extensively standing on a diversity of platforms declaring the mouth of God with great accuracy and authority. Bishop-Designate Kinney walks in under a seasoned prophetic mantle with power and demonstration!

 In 2007, the then "Overseer Kinney" was publicly affirmed as an Overseer in the Lord’s Church. This affirmation was not a promotion but simply defining moment that he was recognized and consecrated for effective service and simply “doing the work”. His ministry style is as bold as a lion seasoned with wisdom and prophetic acumen. He declares the mouth of God with consistent accuracy and brings appreciation and greater understanding of God's heart toward His people.  He is also seated on the Board of Advisors for several faith-based organizations in Washington, DC area.  Most recently in the spring of 2008, Bishop Designate Kinney was requested to serve as a Military Pastor for the United States Air Forces (Andrews Air Force Base 113th Reserve Unit). In February 2011, he was appointed Bishop-Designate in preparation for his consecration to the office of Bishop in the Lords church and over the Kingdom Connected Network of Ministries.

Bishop Kinney is the Senior Pastor of Perfecting Word Ministries in Maryland. He recently released his first book titled “SNEAK A PREACH” which was released in January 2010. He is currently working on four other books;“I’ve Been Through Hell, Now I’m On Fire”, “Diary of a Mad Black Preacher” ,“The Prophecy of My Pain” and “Wounded for the Next Level”.  Bishop Designate Kinney is married to Pastor Iris Kinney who is the Executive Pastor of Perfecting Word Ministries. He is the father of Jayla LaWren and Avery Darnell Jr. Bishop Designate Kinney is the Founder and General Overseer of The Kingdom Connected Network of Ministries which is a network of ministries, churches, faith-based businesses leaders that are in covenant with Bishop Designate Kinney are under the spiritual fathering and covering of Bishop Kinney. His testimony remains “Don’t let your story be louder than your praise!”

    

Pastor Iris Kinney is unrelenting in the empowerment of women, and has worked with passion and spirit in equipping and encouraging women to maximize their potential in every facet of their lives.

Pastor Iris is the director of the Women’s Ministry at Perfecting Word Ministries and is the Ministry Leader of PEARLS which is our women’s ministry. The Women’s Ministry provides the ladies of PWM with the necessary resources to be leading ladies in every arena of their lives. Pastor Iris challenge’s the women of our church weekly with exhortations to be their best, do their best, and to walk in their best anointing as a Leading Lady!

Pastor Iris has committed her life to Christ for the empowerment of the men and women of God for the Kingdom of God. She is in ministry with her husband, pastor and best friend Overseer Avery Kinney and they pastor the Perfecting Word Ministries located in the inner city of Prince Georges County Maryland. Pastor Iris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia. Pastor Iris is a powerful end-time handmaiden being raised up to declare healing, wholeness and reconciliation to the body of Christ with love and compassion. Pastor Iris is a business owner and sole proprietor of “Touch of Pizzazz” a graphics and business services firm. Pastor Iris is quick, witty and "knows her bible." Pastor Iris' effectiveness in capturing souls for Christ is enhanced by her example of boldness and confidence. She is the mother to Avery & Jayla Kinney. Pastor Iris is the Executive Director of Reflecting His Glory, which is a ministry that ministers to the pastor wives, leading ladies and female pastors.
