Pastors Avery & Iris Kinney are two articulate voices, two fresh ears, two discerning minds in one ministry with a word in their mouths that declares the 'is-ness' of what God is saying to His people. Now is the time for the nations to know what those that have experienced their ministry can testify to the fact that they are sent from God with a message of deliverance, restoration and prophetic navigation.

Pastors Avery and Iris are completely, absolutely, seriously, passionately 'CALLED' by God to reach people. In a day of containment and personal retrenchment and personal and corporate walls, The Kinney's teachings are refreshing and promote healing that builds bridges just as Jesus did.  The Kinney's are a loyal son and daughter to Apostles Gregory and June Kelley as well as their "Kingdom Mother" Dr. Geraldine McInnis.

Overseer Kinney’s ministerial resume is that of a servant because he has functioned in every capacity imaginable. This man of God is a true benefactor of mantles released and impartations into his life by serving some locally and nationally renown men and women of God over the last 20+ years.

Overseer Kinney travels extensively standing on a diversity of platforms declaring a “Perfecting Word” for the times.  He walks in under a seasoned prophetic mantle with power and demonstration. In 2007 the then..."Pastor Kinney" was publicly affirmed as an Overseer in the Lord’s Church. This affirmation was not a promotion but simply identification for effective service and the anointing he was already functioning in.                                             

Overseer Kinney's ministry style is as bold as a lion seasoned with wisdom and prophetic acumen. He declares the mouth of God with great clarity and consistent accuracy. The word in Pastor Kinney's mouth brings appreciation and greater understanding of God's heart His people.  Overseer Kinney also is seated on the Board of Advisors for several faith-based organizations in Washington, DC area.  Most recently in the spring of 2008, then Pastor Kinney was asked to serve as a Military Pastor at Andrews Air Force Base 113^th Reserve Unit.  Overseer is currently working on three books concurrently "I've Been through Hell and Now I'm on Fire", "The Prophecy of My Pain" and "Diary of a Mad Black Preacher".  Overseer Kinney is the husband of Pastor Iris Kinney who serves as the Executive Pastor of Perfecting Word Ministries and the father of Jayla LaWren and Avery Darnell Kinney Jr.

Pastor Iris Kinney is a native Washingtonian. She attended the University of the District of Columbia and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is a true woman of God that walks in integrity, love and compassion. She is an anointed preacher who breaks open the word of God in a down to earth and realistic manner that has impacted the lives of those who have been favored to experience her ministry gift.

"Pastor Iris" as she is affectionately called is an exemplary model of womanhood. She inspires, motivates, and encourages, challenges and guides women to the heart of God whereby they can develop a strong relationship with God and experience success spiritually, emotionally and physically.

  Anointed, uplifting, detail oriented and beautiful are a few words that accurately describe Elder Iris. She is an anointed leader amongst women, and a fire filled faith walker that understands that her steps have been ordered for such a time as this. Pastor Iris profoundly uses her wisdom, gained throughout years of experience in ministry, coupled with extensive research and God-given insight.

Pastor Iris has a passion to minister healing and deliverance through prayer and the Word of God to all that are spiritually, emotionally and physically wounded to promoted healing and wholeness. As a young adult, Pastor Iris was trained and nurtured at New Dimensions Kingdom Ministries under the anointed leadership Apostles Reginald & Annette Miles in Washington, DC.  In 2006, Pastor Iris met her best friend and companion for life Overseer Avery Kinney and together they pastor Perfecting Word Ministries a non-denominational prophetic resource and equipping church. In addition to being a wife and pastor, she is the mother of Avery Jr. and Jayla LaWren.

 

Pastor Iris is a woman who comprehends well her place in ministry and in the home.  She totally embraces the Kingdom call of her husband Overseer Avery Kinney. She encourages him to forward thrust in the things of God.
